Our Vision for On-Demand Business Intelligence

LucidEra was founded in 2005 by veterans of the business intelligence industry. Our founders recognized early the shift of business intelligence to an on-demand model.

Traditional business intelligence solutions were built with the assumption that employees, the data they accessed, and their company's applications were all located within the four walls of the corporation. This "BI fortress" model is now obsolete: First, parts of the workforce moved out. Whole functions or projects were outsourced. Then the data the employees needed to access expanded to include external data on the web. And finally, the entire business application, such as salesforce automation, moved to an on-demand model. Now business intelligence is also moving beyond the four walls — future business intelligence implementations will be on-demand.
