Peter Rip joined Crosslink in 2006 as a General Partner, and focuses on Internet, software, and services. Peter brings over 25 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur, venture investor, and institutional investor. He has focused exclusively on early stage technology companies. Before becoming a venture investor, Peter co-founded Silicon Compiler Systems, a major IC design automation software company acquired by Mentor Graphics in 1991. He began venture investing in 1992. He has specialized in investing in early stage companies, several of which have been acquired by AOL, CA, HP, Microsoft and others. Prior to joining Crosslink, Peter was a Managing Director at Leapfrog Ventures and the Managing Director of Knight Ridder Ventures.

Michael Eisenberg has been a key figure in Internet and software investing in Israel since 1995, playing a central role in the development of many of Israel’s leading companies and startups.
Prior to joining Benchmark, Michael was a partner at Israel Seed Partners for eight years. Michael joined Israel Seed in 1997 from Jerusalem Global, where he started and headed the firm’s successful investment banking group and partnership with Montgomery Securities.
Investments: Conduit, Clarizen, Digital Fuel, Finjan, Funtactix, Gigya, Gurunet (Amex GRU), Picturevison (acquired: EK), Seeking Alpha, Shopping.com (Nasdaq: EBAY), Tradeum (acquired: VERT), Xacct (acquired: DOX), and Zlango.
Other Affiliations: Michael serves on the board of Snunit, Israel’s foremost nonprofit organization, specializing in integrating technology and the Internet into Israel’s elementary schools. Michael also lectures frequently on the topics of venture capital and entrepreneurship at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Education: Michael holds a BA in Political Science from Yeshiva University in New York.
Mark Kremer is a U.S. and Israeli citizen with more than 15 years experience as a successful Silicon Valley executive and entrepreneur. Mark Kremer is the CEO of Precise Software Solutions, prior to joining Precise Software, Mark was a VC at Benchmark Capital. He served as CEO of Broadbase Software Inc. (Nasdaq: BBSW), a leading provider of e-business applications. Mark founded Broadbase in November 1995, receiving early funding from Benchmark. As CEO of Broadbase, Mark recruited an outstanding executive team and led the company to a leadership position in the e-business applications market.
The company now provides critical e-commerce infrastructure applications to hundreds of companies worldwide, including ADP, Cisco Systems, Fidelity Investments, Hewlett Packard, Kodak, The Sharper Image and United Airlines.
In the nine years prior to founding Broadbase Software, Mark held several executive positions in high-profile Silicon Valley companies, including Oracle and Verity. Prior to moving to the U.S. in 1986, Mark was one of the pioneering engineers of Motorola Semiconductor in Israel.
Mark is based in Benchmark’s Menlo Park office.

Bob Lisbonne joined Matrix Partners as a General Partner in the Matrix Partners Silicon Valley office in June 2001. Before Matrix, Lisbonne was a General Partner with Crosspoint Venture Partners. Prior to Crosspoint, Lisbonne was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Browser Products at Netscape. Before that he was Vice President of Marketing at Collabra Software, which was acquired in 1995 by Netscape. Previously, Lisbonne was Director of Integrated Products at Claris and a co-founder of Pacific Coast Software. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker specializing in high technology companies at Goldman Sachs. Bob attended Stanford University, where he earned MBA, MA, and BA degrees and did graduate studies in Computer Science.
In addition to LucidEra, Bob serves or has served on the boards of Blue Lane Technologies, Consera Software (acquired by Hewlett-Packard), PostPath, Renkoo, TeaLeaf Technology and Xign.
