Vendors Selected for the “Cool Vendor Report” are Innovative, Impactful and Intriguing

SAN MATEO, Calif., – April 9, 2008 – LucidEra, the leading provider of simple-to-set-up and simple-to-use business analytics-as-a-service for sales, operations, and finance managers today announced that it has been named one of Gartner’s "Cool Vendors in Business Intelligence and Performance Management, 2008” in a research report published by Gartner, Inc. on April 4, 2008. The new report, written by analysts Bill Gassman, Gareth Herschel, Andreas Bitterer, James Richardson, and Neil Chandler, selected companies with unique and innovative product offerings.

According to Gartner, “News in the BI and performance management markets in 2007 was mostly about consolidation, but innovation continues to flourish. This is a telling indication of how dynamic the market will be during the next few years.”
